The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Systems Engineer – Health Management to join the Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GVHMS) team in Hazelwood, MO. This role will support a proprietary program as well as other platforms in the GVHMS portfolio within the Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization.

Responsibilities

  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
  • Evaluates customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
  • Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
  • Develops the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.
  • Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline.
    • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
    • 1+ years of experience in systems engineering (requirements definition, allocation, verification, architecture design, and trade design).
    • 1+ years of experience working systems engineering across multiple phases of the product life-cycle.
  • Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
    • Active Secret Security Clearance.
    • 1+ years’ experience building stakeholder and customer relationships.
    • Agile development experience.
    • Experience with military aircraft and Proprietary programs.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead by influence.
    • 2+ years of experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is a plus.
    • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and CAM duties.
