Deutsche Bahn AG is looking for passionate individuals to join our team as Mechatronics Technicians starting September 2027 in Munich, Germany. Responsibilities

In your role as a Mechatronics Technician, you will:

Become a professional in the maintenance, upkeep, and repair of our complex systems, such as elevators, escalators, and lifting platforms.
Focus on the electronic systems within these installations.
Gain experience in programming, installing, and testing modern hardware and software components.
Learn to create fault and malfunction diagnoses.
Be trained in how to competently address any issues that arise.

Requirements

To be considered for this apprenticeship, you should:

Have recently completed or be about to complete your secondary school qualification, recognized in Germany.
Possess German language skills at least at the B2 level.
Have a genuine interest in technology.
Excel in mathematics and physics.
Be reliable, team-oriented, and meticulous in your work.

Competitive Salary: Depending on your apprenticeship year, you can expect a monthly salary between €1,324 and €1,531, plus holiday pay. *Salary figures are valid from July 1, 2026, and apply to the majority of apprentices within the DB Group.
