Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

Join our fast-growing business group as a Bonus Data Analyst, focusing on analyzing bonus effectiveness and campaign efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze bonus effectiveness across campaigns, products, segments, markets, channels, and customer lifecycle stages.
  • Calculate and monitor key bonus economy metrics: bonus cost, bonus-to-deposit ratio, bonus-to-GGR/NGR ratio, ROI, payback, profitability, incremental revenue, retention uplift, and margin impact.
  • Evaluate the real business impact of bonuses, separating organic user behavior from bonus-driven behavior.
  • Analyze CRM, retention, VIP, and product campaigns to identify which bonus mechanics generate value and which create excessive cost.
  • Build and maintain dashboards for bonus performance, bonus cost, profitability, and campaign efficiency.
  • Support CRM, retention, VIP, product, finance, and risk teams with data-driven recommendations on bonus strategy.
  • Segment users based on bonus sensitivity, profitability, activity level, lifecycle stage, risk level, and expected value.
  • Identify bonus abuse, suspicious activity, abnormal bonus usage patterns, and potentially unprofitable user behavior.
  • Analyze wagering behavior, bonus activation, usage, completion, expiration, conversion, and breakage.
  • Monitor bonus cannibalization, over-incentivization, low-margin activity, and negative ROI segments.
  • Validate bonus-related data across CRM, product, payment, financial, and BI sources.
  • Perform cross-source reconciliation and investigate discrepancies in bonus cost, campaign attribution, user eligibility, and financial metrics.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis, deep dives, and business recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Document bonus metrics, calculation logic, assumptions, segmentation rules, and campaign evaluation methodology.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in product, data, CRM, marketing, retention, or business analytics.
  • Experience in iGaming, betting, fintech, gaming, e-commerce, or other high-load digital products.
  • Experience with bonus mechanics such as deposit bonuses, free spins, cashback, reload bonuses, loyalty rewards, tournaments, promo codes, missions, or personalized offers.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large transactional datasets.
  • Experience analyzing bonuses, promotions, campaigns, offers, loyalty mechanics, or customer incentives.
  • Strong understanding of bonus economics: bonus cost, bonus-to-revenue ratio, ROI, payback, profitability, margin impact, and incremental value.
  • Understanding of key business metrics such as deposits, withdrawals, turnover, GGR, NGR, ARPU, LTV, retention, churn, reactivation, and customer profitability.
  • Experience with cohort analysis, segmentation, funnel analysis, campaign analysis, and user-level behavioral analytics.
  • Ability to distinguish total campaign results from incremental impact and evaluate whether bonuses generate real business value.
  • Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and data quality control.
  • Ability to build dashboards and translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Good understanding of ETL processes, data structures, and analytical data marts.
  • High attention to calculation accuracy, definitions, assumptions, and business logic.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with fraud, bonus abuse, multi-accounting, arbitrage behavior, or suspicious user activity analysis.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, uplift analysis, control groups, and experiment evaluation.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Familiarity with Python for analytical tasks.
  • Experience working with CRM, marketing automation, payment, transactional, or clickstream data.
  • Understanding of wagering requirements, bonus lifecycle, activation, completion, expiration, and breakage.
  • Experience working with finance or risk teams on profitability and cost-control topics.

Soft Skills

  • Analytical thinking.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Business-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ownership and accountability.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and validate business logic.
