About the Position
We are seeking a Business Analyst (Financial Services/Payments) in Singapore. You will translate business needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, and test scenarios, working closely with Product Owners, engineers, and architects. If you enjoy Agile delivery, stakeholder partnership, and hands-on SQL, you will help shape reliable payment experiences end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders and delivery teams to align scope, priorities, and outcomes
- Elicit, analyze, and document requirements, process flows, and user journeys
- Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items in Jira
- Clarify functional needs, constraints, and dependencies to support solution design
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies including refinement, planning, and sprint reviews
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) including scenarios, execution support, and outcome validation
- Maintain requirements traceability, manage change requests, and support release readiness
Requirements
- Business analysis experience in IT or software delivery environments
- Requirements engineering expertise including elicitation, documentation, and prioritization
- SQL skills for querying data and supporting analysis or validation
- Jira proficiency in Agile delivery teams using Scrum
- Payments or financial services knowledge with awareness of risk and operational considerations
- Ability to translate business goals into actionable delivery requirements and functional specifications
- API and integration understanding across systems and data flows
- Clear communication and stakeholder management across distributed teams
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) tools including prompt writing
- Experience supporting discovery workshops, journey mapping, or process mapping
