Ajax Systems, an international tech company and the largest manufacturer of security systems in Europe, is looking for a new team member to join our System Division as a Business Analyst.

The System Division develops the Ajax software ecosystem - including OS Malevich, the Video Management System, cloud infrastructure, and client applications. The team ensures the stable operation of all system components as a unified digital platform.

The Video business part is rapidly growing. This is a great opportunity to join the video team.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain clear and concise business requirements, specifications, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support the creation of technical documentation, system diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate interpretation and implementation of business requirements.
• Participate in the development and enhancement of Ajax Video.
• Continuously improve processes and propose innovative solutions to business challenges.
• Perform analysis of competitors.
• Check that new requests don’t break anything in the existing product and comply with the main product goals.
• Aid in testing of a product.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Business/System Analyst in software companies.
• Upper-intermediate or Advanced English, strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience in collection and elaboration of requirements.
• Experience in creating business requirements, specifications, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria in a clear and concise form.
• Experience in writing technical documentation, creation of system diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Basic knowledge of software architecture and microservices.
• Advanced knowledge of IP protocol stack, REST API design, integration protocols, and data formats.
• Understanding of web and mobile application development processes.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and have strong innovation and facilitation skills.

Nice to Have

• Good knowledge of Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence) and Figma/Sketch/Balsamiq (or similar).
• Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, UX/UI, customer support, marketing.
• Pre-sale experience.
• Experience in video-related features/products will be a plus.
