About the Position

Business Analyst (m/w/d)

Axess AG is seeking a dedicated Business Analyst to join our team in Anif, Salzburg, AT. Shape the future of event management platforms for ski resorts, stadiums, and exhibition centers.

Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst at Axess AG, you will:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and clients from various industries, including ski resorts, stadiums, leisure, and theme parks.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear, structured functional specifications, user stories, and process models that serve as the foundation for our development teams.
  • Work closely with product managers, software developers, and UX designers to ensure that solutions are technically feasible, user-centric, and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Moderate and support workshops, interviews, and reviews to ensure a common understanding among all stakeholders and to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support ongoing projects through data analysis and provide well-founded insights that support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • You have completed HTL for Technical Computer Science or a comparable school, or you have a degree in a similar field.
  • You understand software development processes and can communicate competently at both a technical and business level.
  • You have initial experience with requirements engineering methods and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, draw.io) and in agile working environments.
  • You have strong analytical skills, work meticulously, and have a practical and solution-oriented mindset. You do not wait for problems to solve themselves.
  • Your German and English skills in speech and writing are at a professional level; you can confidently moderate and lead international meetings.
  • You communicate clearly and concisely, even when the underlying topics are technically complex.
  • Teamwork is in your nature: you like to share your knowledge, work collaboratively, and contribute positively to team dynamics.
  • Active participation in or interest in winter sports such as skiing is an advantage.

By law, we are obliged to point out that the collective bargaining minimum salary for this position is EUR 38,183.60 gross/year based on full-time employment. However, your personality, expertise, and commitment are most important. We offer an attractive, performance-based salary that is individually adjusted to your qualifications and professional experience and significantly exceeds the collective agreement for employees in the metal industry.
