About the Position

Kharkiv IT Cluster, one of the largest IT communities in Ukraine, is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in their digital transformation journey. This role involves consultations, events, and partnerships to foster business growth and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Search and attract SMEs to Kharkiv IT Cluster projects and initiatives.
• Conduct online and offline meetings with business representatives.
• Identify company needs and match them with relevant opportunities.
• Advise businesses on services, support programs, training, digitalization, and partnerships.
• Build long-term relationships with companies.
• Support companies post-engagement.
• Manage CRM and client database.
• Coordinate interactions between businesses and internal teams.
• Participate in business events, forums, meetings, and networking.
• Generate regular analytics and reports on company interactions.

Requirements

• Experience in B2B, account management, business development, partnerships, or customer success.
• Understanding of business operations and the needs of SMEs.
• Ability to communicate with company owners and managers.
• Presentation, negotiation, and partnership-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple communications simultaneously.
• Fluency in Ukrainian.
• English proficiency is a plus.
• Experience in IT, business associations, clusters, consulting, or international projects is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with SMEs or entrepreneurial communities.
• Understanding of digitalization, innovation, or business development topics.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Experience facilitating meetings or business consultations.
