About the Position
Business Development Specialist Ortho&Digital (m/f)
Location: Poznań

As a Business Development Specialist Ortho&Digital (m/f), you will take on a crucial expert role in supporting dental professionals across Poland in adopting and optimizing our digital orthodontic and scanning solutions. This is not a traditional sales position - it is a specialist role combining deep product expertise, customer education, and continuous after-sales support.
Responsibilities
- Become the customer’s expert contact for SureSmile and scanner-related topics, developing strong customer relationships based on advisory expertise rather than transactional sales.
- Deliver professional product presentations and demonstrations of SureSmile Aligners and intraoral scanners.
- Provide year-over-year growth of product and achieve sales budget in assigned areas of responsibility.
- Lead initial SureSmile implementation, ensuring dentists and their staff fully understand the utilization of the entire workflow and product.
- Keep up to date through continuous proactive self-education on products, systems, and education in order to develop SureSmile customers through tailored training and support.
- Undertake ongoing strategic market analysis to ensure responsiveness to changes, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Understand customers’ needs and expectations and educate them on current and emerging market trends to support the development of their business.
- Assist dentists through innovative educational events, such as practice open days, learning forums, and similar activities to drive new case growth and support practice development.
- Develop and foster strong business relationships with doctors and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), working in close partnership with the Dentsply Sirona sales force and Marketing.
- Measure and monitor the success of training and support activities and adjust the approach where necessary.
- Develop, manage, and implement the annual budget to ensure achievement of the agreed product sales budget and broader business objectives.
- Support clinics throughout the after-sales journey, including onboarding, training, system usage, and ongoing expert guidance.
- Provide accurate, in-depth answers on aligner protocols, digital workflows, and product functionality.
- Participate in events, trainings, webinars, and demonstrations.
Requirements
- Completed higher technical education (Bachelor’s degree or above).
- Experience in customer-facing roles (min. 3 years), ideally in dental, medical, or technical environments.
- Strong presentation skills (virtual and in-person).
- Ability and willingness to quickly acquire specialist knowledge of aligners and scanners.
- Fluency in Polish for communication with customers, good level of English (B2) for internal trainings and communication with internal stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel frequently (80%) within the assigned region.
- Creative person with a highly proactive attitude, actively seeking innovative sales activities.
