About the Position
We are seeking a C++ Developer to join our Software Engineering Team in Liverpool, United Kingdom. You will be responsible for the design and development of the Client project. This role requires experience throughout the entire software lifecycle and a drive to achieve excellent results.
Responsibilities
- Define and elicit detailed software requirements
- Collaborate closely with requirements analysts and business analysts
- Provide reasoned detailed estimates
- Work with project management and other technical personnel on a daily basis
- Utilize design knowledge with a proven background in the Unified Modeling Language (UML)
- Specify and conduct detailed unit and system integration testing
- Interface with test professionals and review test collateral
Requirements
- Proven experience in C++ development
- Knowledge of use case modeling
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design linkage to requirements
- Experience with design tools such as Sparx EA, Artisan, ROSE, RSA, etc.
- Experience with both functional and Object Oriented design and engineering
- System level architecture knowledge is desirable
- Essential knowledge in areas of multi-threading, interprocess communication, and memory management
- Knowledge of GoogleTest/nUnit (and derivatives) is strongly desired
