About the Position

RN Supervisor – Emergency Department

Location: Seattle, Washington

Full Time (40 Hour Week) - Evening Shift - 8 Hour Shifts

Base Salary – $118,000 – $180,000 depending on experience

Relocation assistance available

Responsibilities

Coordinating patient care and nursing service activities
Supervising the emergency department staff
Directing professional nursing care for patients in assigned areas
Assessing, planning, evaluating, and documenting the nursing process in the assigned unit as needed
Ensuring the provision of patient care 24 hours a day
Rounding on patients to obtain insight into care provision and patient satisfaction
Developing, implementing, and monitoring unit-based quality improvement programs
Using lean principles in problem-solving departmental and intradepartmental operational issues
Participating in the identification, planning, and implementation of educational programs for all levels of staff while ensuring active participation of staff in educational activities and research.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school
Candidates must have at least 2 years of supervisory or RN charge nurse experience in an Emergency Department
Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse or Compact License
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

5 years of relevant clinical experience with demonstrated clinical knowledge and leadership qualities
