CAD designer (m/f/d) for Devices and Systems

About the Position

We are seeking a CAD Designer (m/f/d) for Devices and Systems to join our team, focusing on designing MTS devices and components.

Responsibilities

• Design of MTS devices and components, from concept to finished product, in some cases including the relevant documentation
• Preparation of feasibility studies
• Development of constructive solutions
• Project planning, some of which involves contact with clients
• Research into the necessary parts, components and their respective suppliers
• Cross-departmental collaboration with Sales, the Development Department and Production
• Production of manufacturing-ready drawings, bills of materials and documentation

Requirements

• Ability to work in a team and organizational talent
• Proficiency in a CAD system (preferably SolidWorks)
• A basic understanding of circuit diagrams, printed circuit board layouts, and relevant VDE standards (e.g., EMC, safety)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Language Skills

• Good written and spoken German and English skills

Education

• A completed vocational qualification as a technical draughtsman or technical draughtswoman, technical systems planner, or technician specializing in mechatronics, or an equivalent qualification or comparable qualification
