About the Company

Our client is a regulated financial company with an extensive network of branches in the Zakarpattia region. The company conducts foreign currency operations and provides financial services for private clients and businesses. Currently, the company is seeking a CEO to lead it and ensure further strategic development, operational efficiency, and scaling.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Business Development

Formulating and implementing the company's development strategy.
Identifying priority growth areas, new products, and business opportunities.
Developing a long-term business model and a network scaling plan.
Making decisions regarding the opening, closing, or optimization of branches.

Financial Management

Responsibility for the company's financial performance.
Managing revenues, expenses, and profitability.
Financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, and liquidity control.
Analyzing the profitability of individual areas and branches.
Building a system of financial KPIs and management reporting.

Operational Management

Managing daily operational activities.
Optimizing and standardizing business processes.
Improving network efficiency and staff productivity.
Automating key operational processes.

Regulatory Environment and Compliance

Ensuring the company's activities comply with NBU requirements and Ukrainian legislation.
Monitoring compliance with currency operations, financial monitoring, AML/KYC, licensing, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Interacting with the NBU and preparing for regulatory audits.
Monitoring changes in the regulatory framework.

Risk Management

Building a system for managing financial and operational risks.
Implementing internal control systems.
Ensuring the transparency of the company's operations.

Team Management

Forming and developing the management team.
Setting goals and KPIs for department heads.
Building an effective organizational structure and motivation system.

External Communications

Representing the company to banks, partners, and regulatory authorities.
Conducting key strategic and commercial negotiations.

Requirements

Mandatory

Experience in a CEO / COO / CFO position or head of a major business unit.
Experience in banking, finance, fintech, payment, or another regulated financial sector.
Responsibility for financial performance (P&L).
In-depth knowledge of the NBU regulatory framework: currency operations, AML/KYC, financial monitoring, licensing, regulatory reporting.
Understanding of P&L, Cash Flow, budgeting, unit economics, and management reporting.
Experience in managing teams and managers.
Experience in scaling a business or managing an extensive network.
Analytical thinking, data-driven decision-making, and KPI-based decision-making.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Preferred

Experience at the C-level in a bank or financial company.
Experience in managing a retail network or a currency exchange network.
Practical experience in interacting with the NBU and undergoing regulatory audits.
Experience in building AML/KYC systems and internal controls.
Experience in business transformation and scaling, launching new financial products.

We Offer

Full-time position, onsite, in Uzhhorod.
C-level position.
Compensation: fixed rate during the probation period + performance bonus after successful completion (discussed individually).
