The Channel Sales Team Lead is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the strategy, execution, and scaling of Skylum’s Channel Sales direction. In this role, you will balance high-level strategic planning and team management with hands-on commercial execution. You will directly lead and grow a team of sales and account managers, synchronize critical operational processes across internal departments (including Finance, Legal, Marketing, Product, and Engineering), and personally lead high-stakes negotiations with our largest worldwide partners. This role requires an agile, proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses deep cross-cultural negotiation skills, and can seamlessly translate ambitious corporate goals into structured, revenue-generating reality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategy, sales channels, and long-term department growth plans to hit the targets of the Channel Sales department.
  • Own the recruitment, hiring, management, and mentorship of the sales team members, ensuring clear goal alignment, tracking performance, and maintaining high team motivation to grow the department.
  • Personally oversee and develop key accounts, actively participating in and leading the company's most critical partner negotiations.
  • Synchronize operations across internal departments, ensuring seamless alignment on legal processes, financial workflows, marketing activities, product requirements, engineering timelines, and promotional activities.
  • Build, maintain, and analyze department dashboards, tracking critical metrics such as pipeline health, revenue performance, and partner-related metrics.
  • Deliver regular, transparent reports about channel sales team performance, including weekly progress updates to the VP of Growth, and monthly/quarterly financial metrics to the Finance department.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in Channel Sales, with a proven track record of successfully selling products through multi-tier partner networks and channels.
  • Strong B2B sales background, with demonstrated experience personally managing key accounts and leading/closing high-stakes corporate negotiations with partners worldwide.
  • Proven experience in team management, with a history of successfully leading, structuring, and motivating sales and account management professionals as a Team Lead or in a similar leadership capacity.
  • Exceptional proactivity and strategic agility, with a verified ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments where priorities change quickly.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to dive deep into partners' businesses and accurately assess different growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build operational structure from scratch, specifically translating high-level business goals into clear plans, tasks, and KPIs.
  • Strong analytical and data literacy, with experience building and maintaining reports on pipeline metrics, revenue, and conversions.
  • Experience collaborating closely with other internal teams to align product offerings and partner contracts.
  • Advanced skills in conducting business negotiations across different cultures and backgrounds.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Willingness to travel.
