About the Position
We are seeking a Child Mental Health Therapist to provide trauma-focused mental health therapy to children and families in Liberal, KS.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide trauma-focused mental health therapy to children and families affected by abuse
- Deliver long-term therapeutic care in a safe, supportive environment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive services
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment plans
- Support children in developing coping skills, resilience, and emotional stability
- Participate in training, supervision, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Licensed therapist or actively working toward licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Experience or strong interest in trauma-focused therapy and child/family counseling
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication, empathy, and clinical judgment
Compensation
- Salary Range: $58,464 - $68,904 annually
