Cloudflare Developer, Platform Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Cloudflare Developer (Platform Engineer) to support a high-profile global client engagement in the pharmaceutical sector. This role focuses on building, optimizing, and scaling solutions on the Cloudflare Development Platform, with particular emphasis on Workers, AI capabilities, and edge-native architectures. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with deep Cloudflare expertise who want to work on large-scale, enterprise-grade platforms with real-world impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain solutions using Cloudflare Workers and the Cloudflare Development Platform
• Develop and deploy edge-native applications with high performance, security, and scalability
• Implement and optimize Cloudflare AI tools (e.g., Workers AI, AI Gateway, Vectorize, related services)
• Integrate Cloudflare services with existing enterprise systems and cloud platforms
• Contribute to architecture decisions, best practices, and platform standards
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and harden production workloads
• Collaborate closely with client engineering, security, and platform teams
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers as the team scales

Requirements

• 3+ years of strong hands-on experience with the Cloudflare Development Platform
• Proven expertise with Cloudflare Workers
• Solid understanding of edge computing concepts and serverless architectures
• Experience building APIs, event-driven services, and distributed systems
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
• Familiarity with security, performance optimization, and observability at the edge
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments is a strong plus
• Strong English communication skills (B2 level or higher)

Nice to Have

• Direct experience with Cloudflare AI tools (Workers AI, AI Gateway, Vectorize, etc.)
• Previous employment or deep project experience at Cloudflare
• Experience with Zero Trust, Access, WAF, and other Cloudflare security products
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
• Experience supporting global, high-availability platforms
