Consultant Data Analytics (m/ž/d)

About the Position

We are seeking a Consultant Data Analytics (m/ž/d) to join our team at PROMATIS. Our focus is on Oracle Business Analytics and Enterprise Performance Management. We aim to leverage the wealth of data to gain valuable business insights. As a Consultant Data Analytics, you will design suitable data analytical models based on customer requirements, ensure efficient data storage, and provide appropriate query and evaluation options.

Responsibilities

• Focus on client needs for knowledge aligned with their business or technical/scientific goals.
• Ensure clarity in existing data and its structure.
• Functionally structure data in conceptual data models.
• Work with relational, multidimensional, hybrid, and NoSQL data schemas for Big Data.
• Use Oracle databases, data warehouses, and data marts for data storage, both on-premise and increasingly autonomously in the Cloud.
• Design reporting and analysis applications and dashboards in close collaboration with users.
• Support data migration with data profiling, conceptual data transfer design (ETL), and ETL process implementation, including necessary automation and test procedures.

Requirements

• Completed studies in computer science, informatics, business informatics, or related fields.
• Required knowledge and experience, ideally in an Oracle environment:
  • Conceptualization and design: data profiling, information needs analysis, data modeling, design of data warehouses and data marts.
  • Database modeling for data warehouses and OLAP: star schema, snowflake schema, data vault.
  • ETL: design, development, and testing of ETL processes.
  • Monitoring and online analysis: design and development of reports, dashboards, and web and mobile reporting systems.
  • Design, implementation, and improvement of BI databases and applications with one of the following technologies:
    • Object Relational, In-Memory
    • Multidimensional, Essbase
    • Big Data (NoSQL, Hadoop + Spark frameworks)
• Additional qualifications are welcome:
  • Modern data visualization methods and technologies
  • Oracle ETL and real-time integration: data integrator, golden gate, streams
  • Oracle Analytics Cloud
  • Oracle Fusion Analytics
  • Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud
  • Advanced Analytics: Data Mining, R Statistical Computing, Predictive Analytics
  • Information Discovery: Oracle Endeca
• Responsible use of technology and AI to create a sustainable "user experience".
• Communication skills, abstract and analytical thinking, and diligence.
• Good knowledge of English and German.
• Willingness to travel for work.
