Data Analyst

About the Position

We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong analytical skills to join our team in Neumarkt i. d. Oberpfalz, Germany. Your role will focus on the analysis, preparation, and transfer of mass data into PDM/PLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Analysis, preparation, and transfer of mass data into PDM/PLM systems
• Data transfer in a team and in close consultation with the concerned departments

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, mathematics, mechanical engineering, or comparable qualification
• Familiarity with sizes, orders of magnitude, algebra, logic, and set theory
• Initial knowledge of product development objects, documents, and processes
• Programming experience, preferably in Python, and knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms
• Experience with file systems, text data, regular expressions, CSV files, XML, Unicode, character sets, and encodings
• Experience with DOS shell, UNIX/Linux, and an appropriate shell
• Analytical thinking, solution-oriented work, and ability to contribute to an interdisciplinary team
• Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English
• Flexibility and project-related mobility
