About the Project
You will join a project related to modern data engineering solutions in the banking sector. The project focuses on building and developing a Data Mesh platform, modernizing legacy DWH environments, and migrating data to the cloud. The work involves developing scalable data architectures, building ETL/ELT pipelines, and supporting data-driven business and regulatory processes.
Responsibilities
- Designing, building, and developing data processing systems
- Creating and optimizing data architectures in cloud and on-premises environments
- Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using modern tools
- Supporting the migration and modernization of legacy DWH systems
- Ensuring high quality, availability, and security of data
- Collaborating with analysts, developers, and business to deliver data solutions
- Conducting code reviews, troubleshooting, and bug fixing
- Implementing monitoring and alerting for data processes
- Working in an Agile methodology in an international environment
- Participating in production shifts (EOD, rotational mode)
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Very good knowledge of SQL and Python
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with data pipeline tools (Airflow, dbt)
- Experience with various data platforms (including Oracle DB)
- Knowledge of system integration and DevOps practices
- Experience in delivering data products, working in Medallion architecture, and Data Mesh architecture
- Very good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level)
