About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Database Administrator, who will ensure that the database runs efficiently and securely.
Location: Remote/Office
Level: Middle
Department: Engineering
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Install, update, upgrade, configure, monitor database and instances
- Design and create a database
- Keep databases stable, operational, accessible, and consistent
- Develop and optimize SQL queries
- Assist developers with SQL and data structure
- SQL High Availability, Load Balancing, Replication
- Perform DBMS related tasks:
- Configuring authentication and authorization
- Providing data backups and snapshots
- Performance tuning
- Data recovery
Requirements
- Experience with PostgreSQL and MariaDB
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with AWS
