About the Position

We are seeking a Designer of medical and diagnostic devices (m/f/o) to join our innovative team. Your role will involve designing mechanical assemblies, contributing to new designs, and constructing prototypes.

Responsibilities

• Design of mechanical assemblies for medical and diagnostic devices
• Active contribution of your own ideas to new designs and design changes
• Design and construction of prototypes
• Design of assemblies in close coordination with other areas of our development department and production
• Determination and examination of tolerances, fits, and standards for manufacturing and assembly
• Creation of design and manufacturing documents
• Coordination of the design with manufacturing partners
• Technical support for manufacturing as an interface with suppliers until acceptance and handover to production
• Preparation of tests and approvals at official testing centers (TÜV)

Your Profile

• Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field of study
• At least 2 years of professional experience in mechanical design
• Very good knowledge of a common CAD tool, preferably SolidWorks
• Basic knowledge of electronic hardware is desirable
• Spatial imagination and analytical thinking skills, coupled with a structured approach to work
• Ability to work in a team
• Confident command of written and spoken German and English
