Job Summary

Provide technical and operational support to traders and front-office users ensuring high availability of trading applications, market data platforms, and trading floor infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and operational support to traders and front-office users ensuring high availability of trading applications, market data platforms, and trading floor infrastructure.
  • Support trading and market data platforms such as Bloomberg Terminal, Refinitiv/Eikon, Reuters, Fidessa, and OMS/EMS applications.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to trading applications, market data feeds, desktops, laptops, and multi-monitor workstations.
  • Provide onsite and remote support to traders in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Coordinate with application, network, infrastructure, and vendor teams for issue resolution.
  • Perform software installations, upgrades, user access management, and hardware deployments.
  • Maintain documentation and follow ITIL-based support processes.
  • Experience supporting trading floor technologies.

Requirements

  • Strong Windows/Mac devices support and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Citrix, Microsoft 365, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS).
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • 4-8 years in Trader Support, Front Office Support, or Financial Services IT Support.
  • Experience in supporting Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Asset Management, or Brokerage environments.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $63,000 to $74,000 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
