About the Position

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at the Software Development Competence Centre within Medicover. Your role will involve managing build and release processes, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and improving deployment operations in our agile work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the build and release processes across multiple environments and infrastructure
  • Support and maintain the existing CI/CD pipelines
  • Participate in the development of contingency plans including reliable backup and restore procedures
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to improve the build, release, and deployment process
  • Help to automate and streamline operations and processes
  • Read and analyze application logs
  • Explore, experiment, and implement new ideas for the latest DevOps tools for application deployment and monitoring
  • Analyze and recommend software configuration that best matches business rules
  • Suggest solutions and work on them to improve the existing applications and services
  • Perform integration and performance tests

Requirements

  • Understanding software architecture and design
  • Relevant university degree in IT or related domain
  • Good level in English language – both spoken and written
  • Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure, and comply with strict deadlines
  • Proactive behavior, good organization, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of software release and deployment processes (CI/CD)
  • Basic knowledge on Microsoft SQL Server
  • Knowledge of software versioning tools: TFS, Git

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with container technology (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with the following technologies:.NET Framework, SQL Server Reporting Services, IIS, Azure
