About the Position

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager with 3+ years of experience to lead innovative campaigns and strategic planning for our global data science conferences.

About the Company

The Open Data Science Conference is an international conference series that brings together the best minds in data science and artificial intelligence. Every year the ODSC team runs multiple conferences including ODSC Europe in London, ODSC Ukraine, ODSC India, and ODSC West in San Francisco having a global presence with over 17,000 attendees worldwide and an online community of over 300,000.

Responsibilities

Own social media publishing calendar as well as community engagement.
Publish content across social channels.
Monitor comments and engage with community members.
Partner with our marketers to own our monthly email newsletter delivery.
Responsible for social media campaign analysis.
Manage day-to-day aspects of ODSC’s digital communications efforts.
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
Oversee the creation and dissemination of digital content, including social media and website content across various online media platforms, both “earned” and paid.
Create goals and in-depth weekly stats reports.

Requirements

The ability to plan, design, and execute diverse and innovative campaigns across a range of platforms is a must.
Track and record campaign data in a live manner is a must.
Analyze, experience with multiple analytic tools is a must.
3+ years of digital marketing experience is a must.
Willing and able to occasionally work outside 9-5 hours is required.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written are required.
Outgoing personality and strong social presence is required.
Ability to work well independently and within a team is required.
Decision Making and Strategic Planning abilities are required.
Expert in ranking sites on organic search in Google.
Google Adwords expertise.
Facebook Ads and campaigns including knowledge of pixel dropping.
Demonstrated experience in advancing strategic communications objectives through digital communication, email marketing, video, social media, and other interactive technologies.
Data science knowledge or expertise is preferred.
