About the Position

Zeta Global (NYSE: ZETA) is the AI-Powered Marketing Cloud that leverages advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and trillions of consumer signals to make it easier for marketers to acquire, grow, and retain customers more efficiently. Through the Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP), our vision is to make sophisticated marketing simple by unifying identity, intelligence, and omnichannel activation into a single platform – powered by one of the industry’s largest proprietary databases and AI. Our enterprise customers across multiple verticals are empowered to personalize experiences with consumers at an individual level across every channel, delivering better results for marketing programs.

Zeta Global is seeking a strategic, client-facing Director to join our ZX Data Science & Analytics team. This role is ideal for an experienced analytics leader who excels at transforming complex data into compelling narratives, influencing client strategy, and driving measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead with Storytelling: Translate complex analytics and media performance into clear, persuasive narratives that connect insights to client business priorities and inspire action.
  • Shape Client Strategy: Develop analytics approaches aligned with client objectives, using insights to inform acquisition, retention, lifetime value, media, and optimization strategies. Serve as a trusted analytics advisor to clients and internal partners.
  • Drive Measurement Excellence: Apply and advocate for best-in-class measurement methodologies, including Test/Holdout-based incrementality measurement. Help clients and internal teams understand the strengths, limitations, and business implications of different measurement approaches.
  • Scale Best Practices: Identify learnings across clients, campaigns, and categories and translate them into repeatable best practices, frameworks, and recommendations that improve the quality and consistency of analytics deliverables.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of analysts, including coaching, onboarding, workload prioritization, performance management, feedback, recognition, and career development. Mentor mid-level analysts in both technical and client-facing skills.
  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Serve as analytics lead and subject matter expert for select strategic initiatives, helping define solutions, align stakeholders, and move work from concept through implementation.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner effectively with Sales, Client Services, Client Development, Operations, and other teams to solve client challenges, improve processes, and deliver high-quality analytics solutions with limited senior leadership intervention.
  • Innovate with AI: Support the development, application, and adoption of predictive and adaptive ML/AI solutions, helping translate model outputs into clear business recommendations and client value.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience in analytics, marketing measurement, data science, media analytics, or a related discipline, with demonstrated progression in responsibility and client impact.
  • Proven ability to translate complex analytics into compelling stories and actionable recommendations for client and business audiences.
  • Strong client-facing experience with excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to command an audience and serve as a model for effective client communication.
  • 3+ years in analytics leadership roles, ideally with team management experience.
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in one or more analytics, measurement, media, or industry domains, with the ability to share knowledge and elevate the capabilities of others.
  • Working familiarity with Python, SQL, Tableau or comparable analytical and visualization tools, as well as experience working with predictive analytics and/or ML/AI models.
  • Ability to operate independently, make sound decisions in support of clients and the business, give and receive feedback effectively, and challenge existing approaches constructively.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, or related fields.
  • Experience in Retail, Financial Services, Telecom, or Travel verticals is a plus.
