Responsibilities
- Develop recommended solutions (facilities, test equipment, IT, data flows) that meet program requirements, budget, and schedule.
- Prepare and present recommendations to program leadership and Integrated Project Teams for approval.
- Implement approved plans in coordination with systems engineering, sustainment, maintenance depots, logistics, and external OEM partners.
- Compile, verify, and post technical and program data into approved electronic information systems (e.g., PDM/PLM, SharePoint, configuration management databases).
- Manage and maintain program databases ensuring integrity and traceability of technical data and configuration items.
- Review and approve requests for access to routine non-sensitive data sources; obtain and apply approval procedures to grant access to restricted/sensitive E-7 data per policy.
- Administer and maintain correct access controls and roles aligned with program security procedures and ITAR/Export Control requirements.
- Monitor, track, and record data activity (audit logs) to provide visibility for configuration management and compliance.
- Compile and synthesize data from maintenance records, flight logs, test results, and supplier data to support engineering and sustainment decisions.
- Create drafts and final program documentation (reports, SOWs, test plans) using standard tools; review and approve internal routine documents.
- Coordinate and facilitate important or sensitive communications on behalf of program management with stakeholders including military customers, OEMs (Boeing), and maintenance organizations.
- Assist in establishing facilities, tooling, and computing needs for E-7 sustainment, test, and training operations; process requests and follow procurement workflows.
- Train and mentor less experienced personnel on program data practices, databases, and access procedures.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in data management, project scoping, facilities/equipment coordination and/or project support roles, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously. Performs work with minimal direction and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to tasking.
- Strong negotiation, communication, computer literacy, and organizational skills.
- Defence experience and defence security clearance (desirable).
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
