About the Position
Electronics / PLC Engineer
Develop, program and commission the control systems that run EHOSS machines - on the bench and on site.
About the Role
EHOSS is looking for an electronics / PLC engineer to develop, configure and implement the automation behind our industrial equipment. This is a role for somebody who understands the process the machine serves, works hands-on with the electronics, and moves the needle on how efficient and reliable the equipment is. It is not a service technician post: we are looking for an engineer who holds the whole system and can carry a hard technical problem to an answer.
Responsibilities
- Development, programming and configuration of PLC systems (Schneider Electric)
- Design work on electrical schematics and automation systems
- Configuration and integration of industrial equipment
- Electric motors and variable frequency drives (VFD)
- Fault diagnosis and repair in electronic systems
- Commissioning work
- Optimisation of equipment and automated processes
- Working with design engineers, process engineers and production
- Technical documentation
Requirements
- Experience with PLC systems
- Hands-on experience with industrial equipment
- Understanding of electric motors and variable frequency drives
- Experience configuring and maintaining automation systems
- Knowledge of electrical engineering and industrial electronics
- SolidWorks at basic to intermediate level
- Reading electrical schematics and technical documentation
- First-cycle university degree; English or Slovak at B2
- Responsibility, technical judgement and the ability to work independently
Nice to Have
- Other PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
- Commissioning experience
- HMI / SCADA
- A background in manufacturing or engineering companies
