Job description
About the Position
System Administrator / 1C:Enterprise Developer
Build EHOSS’s IT from the ground up: servers and network, 1C, cameras, access control and RFID in the warehouse.
About the Role
EHOSS is looking for a system administrator who is also the company’s 1C:Enterprise developer, and who will own how its IT infrastructure grows. It is a broad technical role: keeping servers and workstations running, and developing the company’s internal systems yourself - the 1C-based ERP, video surveillance, access control, the RFID system behind warehouse records, and the server infrastructure under it. It is not a helpdesk post, or one for somebody who repairs computers: we are looking for a person who likes to follow a system from the hardware to the software, and who is ready to build EHOSS’s IT from scratch - not to look after a finished system, but to create it and roll it out as the company grows.
Responsibilities
- Administration of the company’s IT infrastructure, servers, workstations and networks
- Administration of 1C:Enterprise, and basic development in it
- Setting up, supporting and developing 1C configurations around what the company needs
- Integrating 1C with the company’s other systems and equipment
- Deploying and administering a server environment on VMware ESXi
- Setting up virtual machines, backups and data storage
- Configuring the local network, Wi-Fi, VPN, switches, routers and network services
- Designing, installing and administering the video surveillance system
- Setting up access control (ACS): electronic locks, cards and readers
- Developing and rolling out an RFID system for warehouse records and for identifying products and materials
- Integrating RFID, the warehouse systems and 1C
- Monitoring the IT systems and clearing faults promptly
- Organising backups and basic information security
- Managing users, access rights and company accounts
- Technical documentation and diagrams of the IT infrastructure
- Working with developers, engineers, and the production and administrative teams
Requirements
- At least two years as a system administrator or IT specialist
- Practical knowledge of 1C:Enterprise and of how it is administered and configured
- 1C programming at basic to intermediate level
- Experience administering servers and virtualised environments
- Knowledge of and hands-on experience with VMware ESXi
- Understanding of TCP/IP networks, DHCP, DNS, VLAN and VPN
- Experience with Windows Server, and preferably Linux
- Understanding of how video surveillance systems and IP cameras work
- Understanding of RFID and of what it can automate in warehouse records
- Working with databases, and an understanding of how information systems are integrated
- Diagnosing problems on your own at the hardware, network, server and software level
- Responsibility, systems thinking, attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- English and Slovak at B1, Ukrainian at C1
Nice to Have
- Access control and electronic identification systems
- Integrating 1C with ERP, WMS, RFID, warehouse and production systems
- SQL and relational databases
- APIs and integrations between systems
- IP video surveillance and NVR / VMS
- Building RFID solutions for warehouses
- PowerShell, Bash or another scripting language
- Backup systems
- The basics of cyber and network security
- Active Directory
We Offer
- 2,000 EUR/month gross
- Work in an innovative manufacturing company
- A hand in building the IT infrastructure of a new production complex
- Real influence over the company’s technology and IT decisions
- Current server and network infrastructure to work with
- A part in rolling out 1C, RFID, video surveillance and access control
- A fast environment without needless bureaucracy
- Professional training, and room to widen your technical expertise
- Competitive pay and bonuses for results
- The equipment and tools the work needs
- Free lunches
- Help with a residence permit, for candidates from Ukraine
- Other company and social benefits
