About the Position
Join the Sustainable Development team at FM Logistic and take on major challenges! As an Environment & Energy Manager, you will implement the Group’s vision by defining and deploying a carbon strategy in line with Science Based Targets and renewable energy guidelines. You will support the business unit teams in implementing these guidelines and participate in the sustainable transport strategy.
Responsibilities
- Define and deploy a carbon strategy in line with Science Based Targets and renewable energy guidelines.
- Support business unit teams in implementing these guidelines.
- Participate in the sustainable transport strategy.
- Lead the zero waste operations programme for logistics activities and offices.
- Organize the acculturation and skills development of the company’s key people.
- Manage Sustainable Development reporting: data collection, methodological updates, critical review of data, and support IT teams in connecting to environmental calculators.
Requirements
- Expertise in carbon strategy and renewable energy.
- Experience in environmental footprint assessment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in sustainable logistics projects.
- Knowledge of environmental calculators and IT systems.
