About the Position
FM Logistic is seeking a Global Purchasing Director to lead and optimize the purchasing function, focusing on economic optimization and value creation.
Responsibilities
- Define and deploy a purchasing policy and a roadmap that sets the main objectives for value creation.
- Implement the purchasing strategy by mapping different purchasing categories and identifying levers for better cost or quality.
- Analyze markets and recommend markets to be pooled and those to be localized.
- Design innovative solutions to make purchasing a lever for creating value with suppliers or customers.
- Define purchasing strategies with internal or external customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in purchasing strategy and process optimization.
- Strong ability to create value through purchasing.
- Excellent analytical skills and market understanding.
