Event Manager (m/w/d) Messen, Kongresse & Corporate Events

medatixx GmbH & Co. KG, a leading provider of practice software and IT services for outpatient medical facilities in Germany, is seeking an Event Manager for Messe, Kongresse & Corporate Events in Bamberg, Bayern. This role involves planning, organizing, and managing national and regional events, ensuring a first-class experience for all attendees.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage national trade fair appearances, regional congresses, and corporate events from preparation to follow-up.
• Manage lead and guest management professionally and ensure a top-notch event experience.
• Develop innovative trade fair and event concepts in close coordination with Brand Management, along with suitable promotional materials and equipment.
• Manage budgets and control the success of all events.
• Coordinate internal and external project participants.
• Analyze event results to derive optimization measures and continuously develop our trade fair and event activities.

Requirements

• Completed studies or training in Event Management, Marketing, or Communication with several years of experience in planning and conducting trade fairs, congresses, and corporate events, ideally in the B2B environment or healthcare sector.
• Familiarity with budget management and the management of external service providers. Ability to work structured, organized, and independently, even with multiple ongoing projects.
• Strong communication skills and team spirit to successfully collaborate with sales, partners, executives, and event organizers.
• Creativity and a keen sense for convincing brand appearances.
• Very good German language skills and willingness to travel throughout Germany.
