About the Position

SOLCOM GmbH is seeking an expert for hardware-close embedded software development and testing with experience in C, Ada, and Python for a contract position in Munich.

Responsibilities

• Independent review of existing processes and methods for securing embedded software according to normative and qualitative guidelines
• Development of proposals for optimizing security and analysis methods
• Development of new methods for software integration analysis (e.g., Data and Control Flow Analysis, Worst Case Execution Time Analysis, Memory / Map File Analysis)
• Documentation of existing and new test and analysis methods in the form of work instructions
• Creation of presentation materials

Requirements

Must-haves

• Completed technical education or degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
• Significant experience in hardware-close embedded software development
• Good knowledge of the programming languages C and Ada
• Experience in software integration, including build generation and debugging
• Experience with tools for integration analysis, e.g., Absint Toolchain
• Experience with scripting languages like Python
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of development according to normative regulations, such as RTCA/DO-178C, ISO26262, A-Spice is advantageous
• High degree of independence, sense of responsibility, and quality awareness
• Communication and teamwork skills in collaboration with other departments with assertiveness
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• EU citizenship necessary (military client)
