About the Position

At EmbedIT, finance is more than just numbers – it’s about driving smart decisions and supporting our business to grow. As part of our Finance division, you will take ownership of project financials end-to-end and at the same time act as a trusted advisor to project managers and senior leaders. This is a role where you’ll get the best of both worlds: the depth of project controlling (from business case to closure) and the influence of business partnering, helping teams understand the story behind the numbers and make better decisions.

Responsibilities

Provide financial support for projects – from business case and pricing through to project closure.
Manage the full financial lifecycle: planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
Turn data into meaningful dashboards, standardize reporting, and automate data processing.
Ensure compliance with internal processes and contribute to their improvement.
Partner with project managers, explain financial results, identify trends, and suggest ways to improve profitability.
Communicate the story behind the numbers to management and teams.
Collaborate closely with colleagues in our Finance division and senior management across the organization.

Requirements

University degree in finance or business administration (at least Bachelor’s).
2 - 5+ years of experience in project controlling, commercial finance, or a similar field.
Strong technology acumen and ability to work with data, reporting, and dashboards - working with MS Suite, PowerBI.
Logical and analytical mindset, attention to detail, and passion for working with numbers.
Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with stakeholders.
Experience with IT project financials is a plus.
Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and build strong relationships.
Fluent Czech/Slovak and English.
