Finance Manager, LATAM (all genders)

Distribusion Technologies is the world’s leading ground transportation marketplace, providing seamless access to ground transportation online. We connect bus, rail, and ferry operators in over 70 countries with major online retailers like Google Maps and Booking.com. We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our team and contribute to our growth and daily accounting processes in LATAM.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, generate, and process invoices with precision to ensure timely delivery.
• Reconcile invoices, payments, and financial records across various accounts and systems.
• Oversee the accuracy of partner legal and financial information within the internal system, ensuring data integrity and validating banking details for seamless payment processing.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for partners in new markets, including Mexico and Colombia, and respond to finance-related inquiries with clear, timely communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve partner issues related to invoicing or payments.
• Perform internal system analysis to review invoicing data and enhance accuracy in financial reporting and invoicing practices.
• Assist with urgent tasks from team members as needed, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Manage partner credit limits to ensure uninterrupted sales and oversee early prepayment arrangements.

Requirements

• Experienced finance professional with 6 years of focus on financial operations and payment processing.
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles, with familiarity in MRFS, NIF, and IFRS.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, skilled in advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Familiar with SQL and PostgreSQL.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Payment Service Providers.
• Good understanding of financial controlling processes.
• Experience with ERP systems, such as DATEV, NetSuite, Xero, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Proficiency in Business Spanish.
