Front-End Engineer (React & Micro Frontend)

About the Position

We are seeking a Front-End Engineer to build a modern, high-performance web platform for a global financial services client. You will deliver new features in a micro-frontend ecosystem, partner with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, and create seamless digital experiences for advisors.

Responsibilities

• Improve code quality through refactoring and Front-end best practices
• Build and maintain React applications within a micro frontend architecture
• Manage state and async data flows using Redux and React Query
• Integrate REST APIs in partnership with Back-end engineers
• Create and maintain automated tests using Playwright and related tools
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver user-focused solutions
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience building modern Front-end applications using React
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with state management tools such as Redux and React Query
• Knowledge of micro frontend patterns (Module Federation or equivalent)
• Experience integrating with REST APIs
• Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Playwright
• Strong Git workflow and code review practices
• Clear communication in spoken and written English

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jira for sprint tracking
• Exposure to banking or financial services domains
• Experience working with enterprise design systems
