About the Position
We are seeking a Front-End Engineer to build a modern, high-performance web platform for a global financial services client. You will deliver new features in a micro-frontend ecosystem, partner with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, and create seamless digital experiences for advisors.
Responsibilities
- Improve code quality through refactoring and Front-end best practices
- Build and maintain React applications within a micro frontend architecture
- Manage state and async data flows using Redux and React Query
- Integrate REST APIs in partnership with Back-end engineers
- Create and maintain automated tests using Playwright and related tools
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver user-focused solutions
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience building modern Front-end applications using React
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with state management tools such as Redux and React Query
- Knowledge of micro frontend patterns (Module Federation or equivalent)
- Experience integrating with REST APIs
- Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Playwright
- Strong Git workflow and code review practices
- Clear communication in spoken and written English
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jira for sprint tracking
- Exposure to banking or financial services domains
- Experience working with enterprise design systems
