Fullstack Developer (Java/ Kotlin, React)

About the Position

We are seeking a Fullstack Developer with expertise in Java/Kotlin and React to join our fintech team in Wroclaw, Poland, for a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Participation in a fintech project where you will develop modern solutions supporting areas such as KYC, Anti-Financial Crime, Fraud Operations, and AI-powered support systems for over a million clients of the investment platform.
• Utilize a technology stack (depending on the team): Java/Kotlin + React or Python + React, TypeScript, Next.js, NestJS, AWS, Docker, GraphQL, CI/CD, event-driven architecture, AI tooling.
• Develop and maintain frontend and backend applications.
• Design and develop APIs and integrations between systems.
• Create solutions based on event-driven architecture and asynchronous workflows.
• Develop chatbots, customer support platforms, and AI-driven functionalities.
• Collaborate with business teams on designing and implementing new functionalities.
• Ensure code quality, testing, security, monitoring, and reliability of solutions.
• Participate in architecture design and mentor team members.
• 100% remote work.
• Hourly rate up to 170 PLN based on B2B depending on experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin and JavaScript, React.
• Familiarity with REST API, GraphQL, and authentication/authorization mechanisms (JWT).
• Experience with distributed architecture, event-driven, or asynchronous processing.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Git, and CI/CD.
• Commitment to high code quality, testability, and application security.
• Fluent in English (minimum B2+/C1).
• Experience in the regulated industry, workflow systems, internal platforms, or AI solutions is a plus.
