Functional Analyst

About the Position

We are looking for a Functional Analyst with a sharp, methodical, and communicative approach, able to serve as a bridge between business areas and the development team, making sure client needs are turned into well-defined, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with business areas and the technical team to keep everyone aligned on goals and deliverables
• Lead requirements gathering sessions with clients and users to understand their needs, challenges, and business rules
• Refine requirements and craft clear functional requests for the development team
• Enable smooth communication between business and IT, ensuring everyone shares a common understanding of goals and solutions
• Create process flows, journeys, and diagrams to make proposed solutions easier to understand
• Oversee backlog and user story management through Jira
• Organize, prioritize, and track demands in coordination with business areas
• Take part in agile ceremonies, contributing to planning and refinement of deliverables
• Confirm that deliverables from the development team meet business-defined requirements
• Assess the impact of demands across various areas, pinpointing stakeholders and securing involvement from relevant teams during validation
• Champion the business's strategic priorities, helping guide decisions based on value and impact

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience working as a functional analyst
• Natural ability to build relationships with clients and across different areas of the company
• Skilled at converting business needs into well-defined functional requirements
• Experience applying agile methodologies
• Experience using Jira for backlog management, user stories, and demand tracking
• Highly organized approach with strong skills in managing priorities
• Analytical mindset for understanding business processes and designing functional flows
• Experience validating system deliverables
• Broad perspective for identifying impacts between processes and the areas involved
• Proactive and accountable attitude, with the ability to stand firm on priorities when needed
• Strong written and spoken proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher

Nice to Have

• Knowledge or hands-on experience with WFM (Workforce Management) solutions
• Experience participating in digital transformation projects
• Experience connecting business areas with development teams
• Familiarity with process modeling tools
