About the Position

Anybusiness Consult, a part of the international manufacturing group Arplama, is looking for a Chief Accountant to join our team in Stryi, Ukraine. Our company specializes in producing composite products for fire safety, agriculture, and the entertainment industry. We are currently scaling up production, implementing an ERP system, and expanding our export operations.

Responsibilities

1. Accounting and Tax Accounting

• Organization and control of full accounting for the company.
• Control of the correctness and timeliness of recording business transactions.
• Control of primary documentation and document flow.
• Control of personnel accounting, calculation, and payment of salaries.
• Preparation and control of timely submission of financial and tax reporting.

2. VAT and Tax Reporting

• Full support of VAT operations.
• Control of the correctness of formation and registration of tax invoices.
• Control of tax calculation and payment.
• Support of budget reimbursement processes for VAT.
• Control of VAT, ESS, income tax, and other mandatory payments reporting.

3. Production Accounting

• Control of raw materials, materials, and finished products accounting.
• Control of inventory.
• Formation and verification of product costs.
• Control of the correctness of financial transactions related to production.

4. Foreign Economic Activity and Customs Operations

• Support of import and export operations.
• Control of relevant primary and customs documentation.
• Control of customs payments and settlements.
• Interaction with customs brokers and other participants in foreign economic activity operations.

5. Financial Operations

• Control of banking operations, payments, and settlements.
• Control of mutual settlements with counterparties.
• Control of cash discipline and movement of funds.

6. Team Management

• Organization of accounting work and task distribution among employees.
• Coordination of team work and control of task completion.
• Training, development, and support of accounting staff.
• Interaction with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.

7. Risk Control and Legislation Monitoring

• Monitoring changes in accounting and tax legislation.
• Assessment of tax and financial risks and their minimization.
• Support of financial and tax audits.
• Implementation of necessary changes in accounting and financial processes of the company.

Requirements

• Higher education in accounting, finance, or economics.
• Experience as a Chief Accountant or Accountant in a similar position for at least 3 years.
• Experience in full accounting and tax accounting of a manufacturing company.
• Confident knowledge of tax legislation and practical experience with VAT.
• Experience in supporting budget reimbursement for VAT is a plus.
• Experience in production accounting: raw materials, materials, finished products, cost formation, and control.
• Practical experience in supporting import and export operations.
• Experience in organizing accounting work and coordinating a team.
• Proficient user of BAS/1C and Excel.
• Systematic, attention to detail, responsibility, and result-oriented.
