About the Position
We are seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging fitness classes at Hard Rock Hotel Malta, providing a dynamic and motivating workout experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct group fitness classes such as yoga, aerobics, HIIT, Zumba, Pilates, cycling, stretching, or functional training
- Create engaging and motivating workout sessions for participants of different fitness levels
- Demonstrate exercises safely and ensure correct technique and posture
- Monitor participants during classes to prevent injuries and provide modifications when necessary
- Encourage and motivate members to achieve their fitness goals
- Plan class routines, music, and workout structures according to club standards
- Maintain a positive, energetic, and professional atmosphere during classes
- Ensure fitness equipment and studio areas are clean, organized, and safe
- Provide basic fitness guidance and answer members’ questions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Group Fitness Instructor, Fitness Trainer, or similar role
- Certification in fitness instruction, aerobics, yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Les Mills, or related disciplines
- Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, body mechanics, and injury prevention
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
- Energetic, positive, and professional personality
- Ability to lead and engage groups of different fitness levels
Nice to Have
- PR / First Aid certification
- Experience in gyms, wellness centers, resorts, or luxury hotels
- Multiple fitness certifications are an advantage
- Leadership and confidence
- Strong stage presence and class management
- Attention to participant safety
- Motivation and interpersonal skills
