About the Position

We are seeking a Growth Platform, Marketing Engineer to join our team in either New York City, NY or San Francisco, CA. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Build Systems: Develop systems that empower marketers to run campaigns independently.
• Production Code: Write production code across Faire’s codebase, adhering to our engineering standards.
• End-to-End Ownership: Own services from design to deployment, including on-call responsibilities.
• Collaborate: Work closely with lifecycle, paid, brand, and product marketing teams.
• Self-Serve Solutions: Create self-serve capabilities for audiences and attributes, landing pages, and more.

Requirements

Required

• Experience: 4+ years shipping and owning production software, in or adjacent to a marketing, growth, or GTM organization.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, React, and Next.js.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing.
  • Depth in at least one marketing platform: CDP, ESP, attribution, analytics platform, CMS, or ad platform API.
  • Experience with AI coding agents and LLMs in production systems.
  • Track record of owning a system end to end, including on-call responsibilities.

Preferred

• Experience: Marketplace or two-sided e-commerce experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Production experience with Kotlin or Java on the backend and JavaScript or TypeScript with React or Next.js on the frontend.
  • Familiarity with Braze, Hightouch, Google Ads, and Meta.

Salary Range

San Francisco & New York: the pay range for this role is $176,000 to $242,000 per year. This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location.
