About the Position

Hardware System Test Engineer

Locations: Bristol, UK; Cambridge, UK

Build the manufacturing test solutions that help every Graphcore system perform as designed.

This role exists to ensure our hardware is tested thoroughly from product introduction through to volume manufacturing. Your work will improve product quality and manufacturing confidence.

You will design and develop test software for advanced computing systems. You will work closely with hardware engineers, software teams, and manufacturing partners to deliver reliable test solutions.

You'll solve challenging hardware and software problems using data, engineering judgement, and close collaboration across the business.

Requirements

Essential

• Experience in manufacturing test of advanced electronic systems. Good understanding of the fundamentals of electronics.
• Experience with Python, C/C++, Bash, and Git.
• Experience using the Linux command line.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams such as software, silicon design, and hardware design. Ability to solve problems in complex electronic systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Desirable

• Experience developing tests for high-speed interconnects (PCIe Gen5/6, Ethernet)
• Experience of microcontroller development / debug environments.
• Experience in both NPI and volume manufacturing test solutions.
• Experience with Assembly programming.
• Basic Data Analysis skills
