We create new formats, stories, and build a world where the only limitation is human imagination. And now we are looking for a Head of Accounting, Reporting & Control who is ready to join us and create it with us.

Your Mission:

To build a strong, transparent, and scalable accounting, reporting, and financial control function for an international group of companies.

• Ensure the quality and accuracy of accounting.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, consolidation, and preparation of management reports.
• Establish uniform accounting standards, financial policies, and control procedures in accordance with IFRS.
• Ensure proper accounting of revenues, expenses, payroll, assets, taxes, intercompany transactions, and debt instruments.
• Build a scalable system of internal controls with a focus on a SOX-ready environment.
• Coordinate external audits, tax consultants, and local accountants in various jurisdictions.
• Partner with CFO, FP&A, Finance Operations, HR, and other teams to ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and useful for business decisions.

Skills and Experience Required:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, reporting, and financial control.
• Experience in building or significantly transforming a finance function in an international company.
• Experience managing multiple financial areas and teams.
• Deep expertise in IFRS, consolidation, and working with multiple legal entities in the US and Europe.
• Experience working with Big 4, international auditors, consultants, and tax advisors.
• Strong automation mindset and experience in automating financial processes and controls.
• Business acumen: the ability to not only ensure compliance but also help the business make quality decisions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build partnerships with CFO, function heads, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• Practical and mature approach to transformations: the ability to form a consistent roadmap, manage risks, challenges, and iterations.
• Professional certification ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
