About the Position
We are seeking a Head of Finance Remuneration to lead and oversee the accounting and financial reporting for all employee remuneration, including salaries, bonuses, benefits, equity-based compensation, and other reward programs. Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the accounting and financial reporting of all employee remuneration.
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting for compensation-related expenses, accruals, payroll taxes, and employee benefit liabilities.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for employee compensation costs.
- Ensure compliance of payroll and compensation processes with local legislation, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and coordinate internal and external payroll and compensation audits.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls over payroll and compensation accounting processes.
- Prepare financial analysis, management reports, and insights on compensation costs.
- Drive process optimization and automation initiatives to improve payroll accounting operations.
- Partner with Finance, HR, Tax, Legal, and external providers to ensure seamless compensation accounting processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Payroll/Compensation Accounting team.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 10+ years in finance, accounting, or compensation, with significant leadership experience.
- Strong proficiency in GAAP/IFRS, ERP systems, payroll software, and advanced Excel modeling.
- ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MBA is often preferred.
