About the Position

We are seeking a Head of Finance Remuneration with over 10 years of experience in finance and accounting to lead our remuneration team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the accounting and financial reporting of all employee remuneration, including salaries, bonuses, benefits, equity-based compensation, and other reward programs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely accounting for compensation-related expenses, accruals, payroll taxes, and employee benefit liabilities in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for employee compensation costs.
  • Ensure payroll and compensation processes comply with local legislation, internal policies, and regulatory requirements across all supported jurisdictions.
  • Lead and coordinate internal and external payroll and compensation audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls over payroll and compensation accounting processes.
  • Prepare financial analysis, management reports, and insights on compensation costs to support strategic business decisions.
  • Drive process optimization and automation initiatives to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of payroll accounting operations.
  • Partner closely with Finance, HR, Tax, Legal, and external providers to ensure seamless compensation accounting processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Payroll/Compensation Accounting team, ensuring high performance, knowledge sharing, and timely delivery of all key processes.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years in finance, accounting, or compensation, with significant leadership experience
  • Strong proficiency in GAAP/IFRS, ERP systems, payroll software, and advanced Excel modeling

Nice to Have

  • ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MBA is often preferred
