Head of FinTech Solutions (all genders)

Distribusion Technologies is the world’s leading ground transportation marketplace, providing seamless access to ground transportation online. We are a fast-growing startup backed by leading venture capital investors and headquartered in Berlin, Germany. We are now seeking a Head of FinTech Solutions to join our team and lead our Financial Services team.

Responsibilities

As the Head of FinTech Solutions, you will be responsible for:

• PSP Strategy & New Integrations

  • Stay ahead of the payment landscape across our operating markets.
  • Evaluate the right payment methods for each market.
  • Select and negotiate with PSPs.
  • Own the full onboarding process from term sheet to go-live.

• Core Payments Infrastructure

  • Architect smart transaction routing.
  • Embed fraud prevention.
  • Build the analytics layer for full visibility into payment performance.

• Payments Operations

  • Launch newly integrated payment methods.
  • Drive acceptance rate improvements.
  • Manage disputes and chargebacks.
  • Oversee partner payouts.
  • Own financial reconciliation end-to-end.

• Cross-functional Leadership

  • Keep stakeholders aligned and informed.
  • Deliver clear reporting to senior management.
  • Build strong partnerships with Finance, Sales, and other teams.

Requirements

• 5–7 years in payments, with direct experience managing international supplier payouts.
• Hands-on expertise with PSPs, payment processors, and gateways.
• Solid grasp of transaction flows across complex payment chains.
• Experience building or scaling payments capabilities across multiple markets.
• Led cross-functional projects with Sales, Product & Tech, and Operations.
• Data-driven with experience defining KPIs and working with BI tools.
• Strong communicator with experience handling payment-related inquiries.
• Experience managing and developing a team.
