Head of Payroll (m/w/d) Zeitarbeit in Köln

TEKATH Personalberatung, a renowned staffing agency with a nationwide presence, is seeking an experienced Payroll Leader for their team in Cologne, Germany. This role requires a deep understanding of the dynamic environment of temporary work and its payroll process chain.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Responsibility: You will be responsible for the proper payroll and salary calculation for temporary workers, managing a substantial monthly payroll volume.
• Leadership & Team Development: You will lead and develop the internal team of payroll and salary accountants and HR assistants.
• Process & System Optimization: You will continuously analyze payroll processes, data flows, and the existing system environment, identifying error sources and ensuring their sustainable resolution.
• Interface Management: You will ensure smooth operations and efficient collaboration by closely working with HR, financial accounting, and operational management.
• Digitalization & Development: You will actively contribute to digitalization and optimization projects, continuously developing existing structures.

Requirements

• Leadership Experience: You have several years of leadership experience in payroll or salary calculation, demonstrating strong communication and leadership skills.
• Industry-Specific Knowledge: You are familiar with the specifics of temporary work, particularly tariff and industry-specific regulations and wage types.
• System Competence: You are comfortable with data flows and payroll processes in zvoove; knowledge of zvoove Payroll, DATEV, or similar payroll systems is a plus.
• Payroll Expertise: You are familiar with complex payroll structures and high monthly payroll volumes from your previous professional experience.
• Analytical Strength: You have a structured, solution-oriented approach and the ability to systematically identify error sources and optimization potentials.
