Head of Technology

About the Position

We are seeking a Head of Technology with over 8 years of experience in Engineering and hands-on coding to lead our engineering teams and drive technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineering managers, teams, and tech teams, collaborate with responsible leads to form, develop, and regulate their activities.
• Organize and execute necessary measures and activities to guarantee the quality of outputs from the tech and architecture division.
• Collaborate with company stakeholders to identify and define requirements, expectations, and the impact of architecture on other aspects of the business.
• Performance Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:
  • Define metrics and evaluate the performance of the tech teams, inform stakeholders of the results and drive continuous improvement.
• Drive technical and technological initiatives and innovations for products and the tooling area.
• Manage and improve technical processes and instruments.
• Mentor, train, and lead technical and engineering teams towards technical expertise and excellence.
• Lead and support technical and engineering teams in planned projects and technical innovations implementation.
• Represent the technical teams to the business and the business to the technical teams as an effective information and communication bridge.
• Conduct technical recruiting interviews for candidates for Tech/Team Lead, Engineering Manager/Head positions.

Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in Engineering and hands-on coding.
• Head or Engineering / Head of Dev Division experience is a must (team of 30+ members).
• Initiative, responsible, business-oriented personality.
• Speak English and Ukrainian/Russian.
