About the Position

We are seeking an HMI- und SCADA Application Engineer to develop and maintain customer HMI and SCADA systems for gas engines and power plants.

Responsibilities

Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain customer HMI and SCADA systems for gas engines and power plants.
Configuration: Configure user interfaces (screens), alarms, tags, and the historical logging of measurement values within the customer's HMI/SCADA framework.
Templates and Scripts: Create reusable templates and scripts to simplify customer-specific adjustments and increase productivity.
Agile Project Execution: Conduct projects using agile methods (e.g., SCRUM).
Collaboration: Work with PLC software developers and system managers during the implementation of new features.
Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with customers, plant operators, and service personnel to ensure high usability and system acceptance.
Error Analysis and Support: Perform error analysis and provide third-level remote support for HMI/SCADA systems in the field.
Validation and Testing: Conduct extensive validations and tests to ensure quality and reliability.
Documentation: Create technical documentation and user manuals.

SCADA Systems Expertise: Very good knowledge of SCADA systems such as Bachmann Atvise, WinCC, Zenon, Intouch.
Industrial Control Experience: Experience in measurement, control, and regulation technology of industrial systems (ideally power plants or water treatment plants).
JavaScript Skills: Basic knowledge of the scripting and programming language JavaScript.

Network Technologies: Knowledge of network technologies and interfaces (OPC UA).
Product Knowledge: Familiarity with CHP plants (combined heat and power) and gas engines.
