For our production site in Badia Polesine, we are looking for an HSE Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the execution of inspections to maintain the safety conditions of plants, equipment, and workplaces across all company areas.
- Responsible for corporate compliance with the PED directive.
- Organizes safety training for company personnel, managing both onboarding for new hires and refresher training for current employees.
- Compiles accident and near-miss investigations, identifying appropriate corrective actions.
- Manages documentation related to Article 26 of Legislative Decree 81/08 and promotes coordination and cooperation with external contractors.
- Maintains relations with the Occupational Health Physician and collaborates in planning and conducting workplace inspections.
- Collaborates with the team in managing the Safety Management System and renewing certifications such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Promotes awareness campaigns for personnel on HSE matters.
- Provides active support to various operational departments in drafting safety procedures.
- Supports the drafting, management, and updating of the Risk Assessment Document (DVR).
- Promotes, organizes, and conducts training and/or information sessions for personnel.
- Constantly verifies compliance with HSE regulations for all activities carried out within the plant.
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- University or postgraduate education related to health and safety.
- Fluent knowledge of Italian.
- Fluent/upper-intermediate (B2) level of English.
- Good/excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to self-organize and manage projects (time planning, milestones).
- Previous experience in industrial companies is appreciated but not strictly required.
