Interventional/Structural Cardiologist - Mason City, Iowa

Join a busy practice of 10 physicians, 10 fellows, and 7 NPs at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center - Mason City Clinic. This role offers a competitive salary of $880k+ in the first year and a full benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Provide the full range of cardiology services, including non-invasive, invasive, interventional, and EP care.
• Perform Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and cardioversions.
• Participate in a growing structural heart center with an established TAVR program, active LAAO/Watchman program, and registry participation in TVT, LAAO, and NCDR.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgery and vascular surgery teams.
• Engage in outreach opportunities at one of 10 critical access hospitals in a 14-county network.

Requirements

• BC/BE: Board certification required within 3 years of becoming eligible.
• Experience: Demonstrated physician competency through completion of an appropriate residency program.
• Skills: Proficiency in performing TEE and cardioversions.
• Licenses: Iowa physician license or eligibility, Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate, and Federal DEA Certificate.

• Compensation: Competitive guaranteed base salary of $779,214 per year plus production.
• Benefits: Full benefits package, including paid malpractice, CME, relocation reimbursement, paid time off, health, dental, vision, life insurance, HSA, disability, and generous employer retirement contribution.
• Recruitment Bonus: $100,000 recruitment bonus.
• Excess Call: Additional $30,000 per year for excess call.
