About the Position

IT Consultant Backup (m/w/d)

interface systems GmbH is seeking an experienced IT Consultant Backup to join our team in Dresden, Germany. This role involves the independent consultation, conception, and further development of complex IT infrastructures for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Independent consultation, conception, and further development of complex IT infrastructures for our clients.
• Analysis and recording of the technical requirements and IT processes of our clients.
• Conception of IT projects and taking over (partial) project management and project documentation.
• Planning and implementation of virtualized IT infrastructure projects based on VMware.
• Support of sales in the context of presales activities.

Requirements

• Preferably long-term professional experience (5 years+).
• Project experience with backup solutions (Veritas (NetBackup, Backup Exec) or Veeam Backup & Replication).
• Affinity for Cloud & Managed Service topics.
• Experience in server (Dell) and/or storage (NetApp, Dell, EMC) environments.
• Experience in the VMware environment.
• System house experience.
